United Way Donor Discount Card

United Way wants to thank our generous donors by offering a Donor Discount Card with offers from 21 local businesses. If you contribute at a minimum level to United Way, you’ll receive a Donor Discount Card and easily recoup your donation by saving money when you use the card between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.

Which donors get a Donor Discount Card?

A donor making a minimum donation of $1 per week ($52 per year) is eligible to receive one Donor Discount Card. However, you may want to set a higher minimum donation level for your organization. Take a look at your organization’s United Way campaign history (enclosed). If last year’s average gift was $150, you may want to set your minimum donation level to receive a Donor Discount Card at $175. The minimum level is up to your organization, but we ask your minimum be no lower than $52 per year.

How will we receive our Donor Discount Cards?

Please complete your Employee Summary Sheet enclosed in your campaign packet, and be sure to list your organization’s minimum level to receive the card at the top. Once your United Way campaign concludes, turn your campaign packet in to United Way of West Alabama, and we will mail or deliver the cards for you to distribute to your donors.
