Young Leaders Society to Host Civil Rights Trail Tour on November 2

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. δΈ€ United Way of West Alabama’s Young Leaders Society, in partnership with Tuscaloosa Civil Rights History and Reconciliation Foundation, is hosting a Tuscaloosa Civil Rights Trail Tour on November 2 at 3:00 P.M. All ages and anyone young at heart are welcome to join this historic tour.

The bus tour will start at Capitol Park and will last about an hour and a half.

Since the bus has capacity for 24 people, Young Leaders Society is allowing sign-ups on a first come, first served basis. However, the group anticipates organizing more tours in the near future and asks that everyone interested in participating sign up.

While the Tuscaloosa Civil Rights History and Reconciliation Foundation accepts any donation amount, Young Leaders Society has set a $10 minimum donation as the price of admittance. Payment may be submitted online through the United Way website or with cash in-person.
