On October 12, Young Leaders Society is hosting a Lunch & Learn with Brian Rushing from The University of Alabama. Join us at 11:30 AM in the Community Room at Bryant Bank Downtown to learn about outdoor and recreational development opportunities in our community.

Outdoor and recreation tourism is a massively growing business. During the hour, Brian will show how Tuscaloosa can take better advantage of tourism while improving local people’s quality of life.

Brian Rushing is the Director of Economic Development Initiatives at The University of Alabama Center for Economic Development. His work focuses on outdoor recreation planning and development initiatives with local governments, state and federal agencies, and private partners, providing both project leadership and technical assistance to advance these efforts.
