Kindergarten Readiness Calendar
Do you have a 4 or 5-year-old who is getting ready to start kindergarten next year? If so, this free calendar is for you! The calendar contains STEM, Art, and Literacy activities that are free or low cost to do with with your child throughout the year. Its contents are aligned with the Alabama Standards for Early Learning and Development.
- More than 195,000 copies of the Getting Ready for Kindergarten Readiness Calendar have been distributed over the past 20 years!
- This free calendar is intended for all 4 & 5-year-old children in our nine county service area.
- This August-July calendar focuses on what children need to know during the year prior to kindergarten. When the child finishes the calendar activities, it is time to start school!
- Currently, Success By 6 contracts with various organizations statewide to supply the calendar to other areas of the state for the publishing price.
- For the past two years we have published the calendar in Spanish.
- Each year, we feature photos of children in West Alabama who attended our JumpStart Kindergarten Program.
